   What Change Are You Ready for?


                            Hello and welcome to My Little House of Prayer. I am your host Dayla Smith. I am so very glad that you could join me today. Let’s open in prayer. Recently, I was asked a very valid question or should I say many valid questions that caused me to know that I need to teach on God’s perfect will and His permissive will. Yes, these are different, and we should all be seeking His perfect will. But due to our humanity, we often mistakenly choose His permissive will. 

               So, what is the will of God? The Webster Dictionary defines the word will as this: power of choosing or determining, desire, determination, attitude, disposition, to bequeath, to command. The Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance defines the word will in the Greek as this: a determination, choice, purpose, decree, volition, inclination, desire, pleasure. 

                So the Lord has a special desire,purpose, decree, inclination, and/or pleasure concerning each and everyone of us. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. 

               The Lord also detailed His statement in Jeremiah in Deuteronomy 28:1-14  28 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.3 Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.4 Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.5 Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store.6 Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.7 The Lord shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.8 The Lord shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.9 The Lord shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, and walk in his ways.10 And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the Lord; and they shall be afraid of thee.11 And the Lord shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers to give thee.12 The Lord shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.13 And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the Lord thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:14 And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.

                       I believe Deuteronomy definitely gives us an idea of His perfect will towards us. The Webster Dictionary defines the word perfect as this: Faultless, exact, excellent, complete, to improve, to finish, to complete. The strong’s Exhaustive concordance in the Greek describes the word perfect as this: Complete. In this context it is true both present and future tense. So, In God’s mind, He is saying this to all of us. “My thoughts and goals for you are complete. I have already decided my plans and purposes for you. My commands are complete.”

                   There are so many ways He thinks about us. In the book of Psalms, King David says in Psalm 8:4-6  4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:  

                 You see, in the Father’s eyes, we never lost our dominion or authority that the Lord had given to mankind in the Garden of Eden. Satan can’t take away what the Lord never gave to Him. Because of the value of His great name, He doesn’t take back what He has freely given to us. The choice is ours to accept or refuse His wonderful Gift. His perfect will is this, 1 Timothy 2: 3-4   3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. What would the Lord desire to save us from? Eternal damnation. Eternal separation from His divine presence. He wants all of us to be with Him eternally in Heaven in the glory of His presence. 

                        Now, the Webster dictionary defines permissive as this: allowing permission or lenient. 1 Corinthians 6:9-20  9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.12 All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.13 Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.14 And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power.15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. 

                   I believe in verse 12, Paul is talking about what is lawful, what is allowed. He says that there are what according to the Torah law of the Lord, may be allowed. But then, He says that what we should aspire to is what is expedient. What is better for us, what is good for us, what we should aspire to in our choice making decisions in our walk with the Lord. So, the question presented to us today is this, what change are we ready for? 

                   Jesus had a conversation with a rich, young ruler. I believe that as the young man listened to Jesus’ teachings, the Spirit of God began to convict him. He had a choice to make. Let’s look at this conversation in Matthew 19:16-24   16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.20 The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.23 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

                        If you notice, Jesus took everyone to the Torah. The laws of the LORD God. Why? Because it is a mirror for our souls. When I go to the Lord, I try to use this mirror to expose what really lies within my heart. So, that I can change my choice making decisions and ask for forgiveness of those sins. Being saved does not make us free from being a sinner. It allows the grace of the Lord to come in and convict us so that we can be changed by the spirit of the Lord Most high. Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

                     Did you see this? What is the perfect will of God? To allow Him to change our hearts and minds concerning our choice making decisions. How we live out the rest of our lives. We were created to glorify His wonderful name. How then, is praying the sinner’s prayer and going about our daily lives as usual glorifying the wonderful Name of the Lord? Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

                      If then, we are still sinners, saved by grace, can we be perfect? Because according to the Word of God, He sees the end of our lives as perfect. As we let Him work on our Christian walk. As we spend the rest of our lives allowing the Torah to be a mirror to our souls. As we repent, ask and thank Him for His forgiveness, we are letting patience have her perfect work. This is what Jesus called the crucified way. 

              You see, salvation is a free gift of God according to Romans 6:23. But, Jesus says that to keep it there is a cost. He asks us to consider this cost. Jesus said in Luke 14:23-33   23 And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.24 For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper.25 And there went great multitudes with him: and he turned, and said unto them,26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.


27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?29 Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him,30 Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.31 Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand?32 Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace.33 So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.  

                     I believe that through our choice making decisions, we can choose to lose our salvation. So, there is clearly a cost to keep our salvation. This walk can and will separate us from those we love and or admire. But the Lord promises that we will not lose anything done in His Name, that He will not repay. This is why He says that anyone trying to preserve His life will eternally lose it. We can not afford to be ashamed of the Gospel. Hebrews 12:1-2   12 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

            So, now the question is this. Are we ready for a radical change to all of our thinking, our relationships, our choice making decisions. Are we willing to give up everything and everyone we know for His Name sake? Are we ready to accept and walk in His perfect will? What is expedient for us? Or what is permissible, lawful? No, I am not saying that we have to ditch friends and family. Give up our homes. Or, any of the such. I am saying that when you truly live for Jesus, you will come under attack. Your faith will be tried. And, just like the rich young ruler, not everyone will accept this wonderful Gift of God. Matthew 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen. Many are invited. The call has gone forth. But few eventually chose to be of the chosen.  

                     If you are listening today, and the Holy Spirit is speaking to you. If you are desiring to accept this free gift and have counted all the cost. If you do not know the Lord Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior. Let me introduce you to Him. It is really simple. First you must acknowledge that you are a sinner in need of a savior according to the mirror of the law of the Lord. Ask Him for His forgiveness for all of your sins and call them out to Him. Thank Him for His forgiveness. Then, forgive those who have sinned or transgressed against you. Then, repent. Repent means to change your mind concerning sinful habits. Change your choice making decisions. Let Him influence your choice making decisions as you get in His Holy Word. Ask Him to be Lord over your life. I want to pray this prayer with you. But, this is just an outline. The real work begins after I pray with you because it is a very personal walk with the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth. 

                    Lord Jesus, I confess my sins and ask for your forgiveness. Please come into my heart as my Lord and Savior. Take complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me and for answering my prayer. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

  Let’s Talk Church


                     Hello and welcome to My Little House of Prayer. I am your host Dayla Smith. Let’s open in prayer. I hope you had a great week so far. So, let’s talk church. I know what you are thinking right now. “Oh my, here we go.” I had a whole other message for this week. But, through a conversation with a friend the Lord spoke to me. We need to have this discussion. Lately people are leaving churches in droves. For so many reasons. Really they are just pitiful, woe is me excuses. That sounds harsh. I know. But sometimes the truth is harsh.

                           The truth is that we are going to need each other more as these days progress. In Jesus' parting message to the disciples was to gather together in an upper room in Jerusalem and wait for the enduement of the power of the Holy Spirit. Then, in Acts chapter 2 as they came in one accord in prayer, the Holy Spirit came. The next scene was that they needed each other more. They had all things in common. 

                  So, let’s read Hebrews 10:19-25   19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;21 And having an high priest over the house of God;22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

               Did you see the many ways in which we need each other? Yes, you don’t have to go to church to be saved. But look at it from this point of view. When a predator like a lion for example is on the hunt for food. What does he look for? Because he is hungry, he is  not willing to extend much energy in chasing his prey. He is looking for a weak straggling. Something totally isolated. Something easy to kill and devour. We would say, but I can watch church services on T.V. Yes, you could. But then lies the question, do they know you personally. More than likely not. You can’t develop the same relationship that you would at your local church that preaches the uncompromising word. So, one reason not attending your local church harms you is that the enemy has you isolated and then he can allow you to become weak. Therefore, making you an easy prey. Whereas if you are a part of your local church, you would be surrounded. 

               Let’s look at John 15:5-7   5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

               So, with this thought in mind, let’s look at 1 Peter 5:5-11   5 Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.11 To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

                 Look at verse 8 and 9. What is Satan looking for? Those who are resisting the faith. Who are alone and vulnerable. When you come to church and become involved with the church. You become part of the family of God. You will have brothers and sisters who will stand with you. Build you up. Pray with you. They will encourage you. You will be able to stand much stronger with the LORD’s support group.

                For those of you who are looking for a perfect church. Jesus Christ has not arrived yet. Therefore, we all have a battle with our old man showing up and making a complete butt of itself. So, I ask you to be patient with all of us cracked pots that Jesus Christ is breaking and remaking.  

               And for those of us who have been seriously injured by people in the church. Take this thought with you. Satan and his imps go to church also. What I advise you to do is talk to Jesus about all of it. He may direct you to another church or, He may tell you to stay. Either way he will correct you and that person. He may make that person very uncomfortable. And in doing so, they may leave.  This is sad that most people would rather not submit and be blessed instead of sticking to Jesus through all of it. On the other hand look at it as another opportunity to draw near to the cross by forgiving them. 

               You see, Jesus forgave Judas Iscariot when he kissed the Lord’s face. He called him friend. Why? Because it was another chance to forgive. Therefore, drawing even closer to the Father. Jesus told the disciples that forgiveness was a heaven or hell issue. In Matthew 6:14-15     14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. We would say, “But, you don’t know how bad he/she hurt me.” You don’t know all the bad things I’ve done.” I don’t know. But the Lord does. Because, He was subjected to all of it. He forgave us when our sin spit in His face. When our sin smashed a crown of thorns deep into His skull. When our sin placed a betraying kiss on His cheek. When our sin mocked and made fun of Him. When our sin drove the nails in His hands and feet. When our sin gambled for His garments. He chose to forgive us. Why then, would we not forgive ourselves and others? When we refuse to forgive, we are throwing His wonderful gift of salvation back at Him. Our unforgiveness says, “ I don’t want anything to do with you, Jesus Christ of Nazareth.” He will honor our choices one way or the other. 

                     The Lord explains Himself and being apart of a local church this way in John 10:1-18    10 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.3 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.6 This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them.7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.13 The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

                     The Lord talks about himself versus Satan and his imps. He also is giving His undershepherds the example to follow when caring for His sheep. This is such a hard undertaking. You definitely have to have a special anointing to do this. I have had the wonderful opportunity to be very involved with my local church. I saw things that utterly broke his heart. I saw times of great joy. But, I also saw everything behind the scenes. You have to be anointed and appointed for this position. Would you want just anyone caring for your children. The Lord feels the same way about His children and who takes care of them. Luke 17:1-2       17 Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!2 It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

                  You see the Lord cares about each and everyone of us. He cares about every last detail of each of our lives. He cares who is in it. He cares about our spiritual growth. He cares about how each and everyone of us interact with one another. I hope this helps you see why I go to church. Jesus has put a love in my heart for the body of Christ as a whole. It doesn’t matter which denomination. If you believe Yeshua was born of a virgin, died and rose again for our salvation. That you have not only asked Him to come into your heart, but also, decided to let Him be Lord over your life. That you have and are asking forgivenes of your sins, and forgiving others including yourself of the sins committed to you. Then, you are apart of the body of Christ.   

            Now, if you do not know the Lord Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior. Let me introduce you to Him. It is really simple.       What Are You Desiring?



                     Hello and welcome to My Little House of Prayer. I am your host Dayla Smith. I am so very glad that you could join me today. Let’s open in prayer. 

                 I want to take a moment to thank everyone for their patience with me during this time I had to put my brain on brain rest. It was so hard. But, through obedience to the doctor and the Holy Spirit, the diagnosis of a full blown concussion went all the way down to a very slight concussion. Hallelujah!! All praise, honor and glory to the LORD Most High. I also, fought with a history of gastritis, diverticulitis, and colitis since 2010. Well, I went and did the annual colonoscopy. The doctor walks in with a look of complete surprise. Then, he asks me what am I doing to completely reverse the diagnosis. I told him that I  was following the diet that I was first put on. After a few more questions he said that the colonoscopy went beautifully and that my colon and intestines were completely healed. Once again, Hallelujah!

                        Now, to begin. On Aug. 11, 1927, Smith Wigglesworth stood in Angelus Temple to preach on preparing for the Second Coming of Christ. He told the audience that liquid fire was consuming him. Then Wigglesworth made this opening statement:

                 “But there will be things that will happen prior to His coming that we shall know. You can tell. I am like one this morning that is moving with a liquid, holy, indispensable, real fire in my bosom, and I know it is burning and the body is not consumed. It is real fire from heaven that is making my utterances come to you to know that He is coming. He is on the way. God is going to help me tell you why you will know. You that have the breath of the Spirit, there is something now moving as I speak. As I speak, this breath of mighty, quickening, moving, changing, desirable power is making you know and it is this alone that is making you know that you will be ready.

                1. There must be special preparation for the return of Christ and at least half of all believers will be totally unprepared. We have to see that these days have to come before the Lord can come. There has to be a falling away. I want to speak to you very exactly. All the people which are pressing into and getting ready for this glorious attained place where they shall not be found naked, where they shall be blameless, where they shall be immovable, where they shall be purified by the power of the Word of God, have within them a consciousness of the very presence of God within, changing their very nature and preparing them for a greater thing, and causing them to be ready for translation.

           This is the day of purifying. This is the day of holiness. This is the day of separation. This is the day of waking. O God, let us wake today! Let the inner spirit wake into consciousness that God is calling us. There are in the world two classes of believers. There are believers which are disobedient, or I ought to say there are children which are saved by the power of God which are disobedient children. And there are children which are just the same saved by the power of God who all the time are longing to be more obedient.

             And we heard the word come rushing, through all over, "new theology" that damnable, devilish, evil power that lived in some of these disobedient children, which in these last days opened the door to the next thing.

                         2. There will be many Christians who believe that they can do whatever they want and God will look the other way. People are tremendously afraid of this position because they have heard so much on this line: "Oh, you know you are the elect of God. You are sure to be all right." There have been in England great churches which were laid out upon these things. I thank God that they're all withered. You will find if you go to England those strong people that used to hold all these things are almost withered out. Why? Because they went on to say whatever you did, if you were elect, you were right. That is wrong. The elect of God are those who are pressing forward.

              3. It will be common for preachers to deny the existence of hell. Denying hell prepares the way for antichrist. What? No hell. The devil has always said, "What does Christian Science say?" [Ray says, "We could insert other names here for the times we're in right now.] No hell, no devil. They are ready for him. The devil has always said no hell, no evil. And these people are preparing, and they do not know it, for the Man of Sin.

             4. It is offensive to talk about the blood of Christ. When I spoke about the blood and when I spoke about this infernal thing, the whole place was upset. You be careful when anybody comes to you with a sugar-coated pill or with a slimy tongue. They are always of the devil. The Spirit of the Lord will always deal with truth. These people never deal with truth. They always cover up the truth.

                 Do you believe it? Who can do it? THE BLOOD CAN DO IT! The blood, the blood, oh, the blood! The blood of the Lamb. The blood of Jesus can do it. Spotless, clean, preserved for God. Give the devil the biggest chase of his life and say these words: "The blood of Jesus Christ, God's Son, cleanseth us from all unrighteousness."

              5. The world will look to worship a man and will overlook his faults to get him into power. These people are determined to have a man. They know someone has to come. We know Who He is that is coming. They begin to make a man. So they find a man in India, they polish him up as much as they can, and they make him as—well, in appearance, but you know we are told by the Lord that there is soft clothing that goes onto wolves' backs.

              6. That people believe that certain preachers are of God simply because of their crowds and their buildings. A person said to me, "You see, the Christian Scientists must be right—look at the beautiful buildings. Look at all the people following them." Yes, everybody can belong to it. You can go to any brother you like, you can go to any theater you like, you can go to any race course you like, you can be mixed up with the rest of the people in your life and still be a Christian Scientist. You can have the devil right and left and anywhere, and still belong to Christian Science.  

               7. As churches turn away from the Holy Spirit many believers go to false teachers. The secret of many people going into Christian Science is a barren church that had not the Holy Ghost. Christian Science exists because the churches have a barren place because they haven't the Holy Ghost. There would be no room for Christian Science if the churches were filled with the Holy Ghost.

                  8. The last days are a time for the true people of God to engage in extravagant asking. Up to this present time, the Lord's word is for us, "Hitherto ye have asked nothing." Surely you people that have been asking great things from God for a long time would be amazed if you entered into it with clear knowledge that it is the Master, it is Jesus, who has such knowledge of the mightiness of the power of the Father, of the joint union with Him, that nothing is impossible for you to ask. Surely it is He only Who could say, "Hitherto you have asked nothing." So God means me to press you another step forward. Begin to believe on extravagant asking, believing that God is pleased when you ask large things. “

                             Just this weekend, I was listening to a minister. At the end of the message someone in her crew was advertising a political statement. As they began to lift up this person in politics, I heard the Lord say, “Even my people, who are called by My Name, are looking for redemption through the hand of man. Instead, they should be looking to Me, their only redeemer. Why must you distrust Me so? I love you. I carved you out of my hand.  Isaiah 49:16 Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me. Please, quit looking to the arm of flesh for redemption. Look totally upon Me, your redeemer. I will redeem all things to myself.”

                         As I read this prophecy, I thought of three scriptures. The first one is 2 Timothy 4:1-4   4 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

            Today, when you look at what is going on in the world. The level of basic moral principles has lowered itself to almost nothing. It will eventually reach the place of everyone doing only what they think is right. And there is always an excuse or a person to blame it on. Which comes down to non- repentance and unforgiveness. Both of which are a heaven or hell issue. You know, Jesus is coming soon. And, I want all of you with me in heaven. But, I can’t make that choice for you. Jesus can’t make that choice for you. We both would love for you to make heaven our home. But, Only you can make that choice!!!!! Yes Jesus loves us. But, the question remains. How much do we love Him? Are we still taking up our cross and following Him?

             The second is Matthew 25:1-13    25 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. 

                    This world has lulled of Christians into slumber. The slumber of remaining quiet and just letting things happen. We are accountable for the truth we know. Ezekiel 3:18-21   18 When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.19 Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.20 Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumbling-block before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.21 Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.

                We cannot sit quietly, when we have the truth! Jesus said it’s the truth you know that will set you free. He also said that He is the truth and the life. No man come to the Father but by Him. Jesus is our constant truth. We must stand on that truth no matter what if we are to make heaven our home.

                    The third one is Matthew 24:43-5143 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

                    I don’t know about you, but the prophecy and this scripture put the fear of the Lord in me. This keeps me on fire for Him. This keeps me at His altar. Asking Him what sins are still in me. So, that I can repent of them. I want to be alert and nothing between me and Him. I am not perfect. No one is. That is not what the Lord is looking for. He is looking for who is constantly on their face before Him. Praying, repenting, seeking His face and not His hand, and above all, the most important is - spreading the gospel everywhere you go. 

                        If you do not know the Lord Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior. Let me introduce you to Him. It is really simple. First you must acknowledge that you are a sinner in need of a savior according to the mirror of the law of the Lord. Ask Him for His forgiveness for all of your sins and call them out to Him. Thank Him for His forgiveness. Then, forgive those who have sinned or transgressed against you. Then, repent. Repent means to change your mind concerning sinful habits. Change your choice making decisions. Let Him influence your choice making decisions as you get in His Holy Word. Ask Him to be Lord over your life. I want to pray this prayer with you. But, this is just an outline. The real work begins after I pray with you because it is a very personal walk with the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth. 

                    Lord Jesus, I confess my sins and ask for your forgiveness. Please come into my heart as my Lord and Savior. Take complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me and for answering my prayer. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
