Deliverance is in the house


                    Hello and welcome to My Little House of Prayer. I am your host, Dayla Smith. I am so glad that you could join me today. Today we are looking at the last and final verse of the Our Father Prayer. Matthew 6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. The title of today’s message is  “Deliverance is in the house!” Hallelujah! Are you excited? I know I am. I love when Jesus is in the room. Things change because of him.

                          So far we have learned to acknowledge from Matthew 6:9-13 who He is, where He lives, His will, His authority given to us,  His provision, our responsibility to forgive others if we want His forgiveness, and if we want to make heaven our home. Now we are looking at verse 13.  Do you think that the Lord intentionally leads you into temptation? James 1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: The Lord does not tempt us. Psalm 37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. Are you a good man? Even Jesus reacted this way in Matthew

19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. Are you able to walk in all the commandments all day every day? I know I can’t. I can try. But, I know there is always forgiveness as long as I truly repent and ask for His forgiveness. Not for premeditated sin. The idea that you can intentionally sin and then repent. That is just wanting the devils cake without the consequences to go with it. He does do what 1 Corinthians 10:13 says, There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. 

          You see, Jesus instructs us that temptation will come. But, we have an advocate we can call upon in those and every situation. Proverbs 18:24 A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother. Jesus is the friend that sticks closer than a brother. Psalm 46 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. He has all the Kingdom authority, the Glory and all power to help us squish the enemies head. Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. The Lord is our defender, shield and buckler in Psalm 91. Psalm 121:4-7  4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.5 The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.7 The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. This is His promise of His divine watchful eye on each and every one of His children that are choosing to walk with Him.

                    If you have ever watched zombie movies, they always say to aim for the brain. It was the only way to kill them. That is what Satan and his cohorts are. Walking dead spirits, walking around seeking whom they can devour in order to keep us as walking dead human beings. Seeking to gain control over your mind, soul, and spirit. This is what the helmet of salvation is for. To help keep your mind on Jesus. 2 Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; In other words, we are to have the mind of Christ.1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Then, let’s look at, Revelation 5:5-7  5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.

                    Do you see the difference? Satan and his cohorts pretend to be the lion of the tribe of Judah. But, they are pyrite. Not everything that glitters is gold. 2 Corinthians 11:14-15  14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. Jesus is the one true lion of the tribe of Judah. This is why we have to know our enemy inside and out. How he walks, talks, and thinks. Not to glorify him. But to be able to recognize the trap he has laid out for us. This only comes from the baptism of the Holy Spirit and more importantly, His beautiful word. So that we can walk in the fullness of the Lord.

                       Our enemy Satan and his cohorts are very cunning. They can only imitate the things of the Lord. They can manipulate the Word of God to look and sound like it. Only the Holy Spirit and knowing the Word of God intimately can help you at these times. Remember, the Holy Spirit bears witness only to the truth. That is how He comforts you.John 15:26-27  26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: 27 And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning. He reveals the truth to you. In turn, we are required to pay it forward to others. Reveal the truth in His Word to others. In other words, help those with less understanding than you to be able to grow in the fear and admonition of Jesus Christ.

               Let’s look again at 2 Corinthians 11:15. For all of you who have attended church or churches and have gotten hurt or should I say offended, Satan and his imps pushed you out of the church. They pushed a button that always works with you. They got you in unforgiveness. Therefore, destroying your chance at ever making heaven your home! You see, he’s not after material things. He has that. When Adam and Eve sinned in the garden of Eden, Adam gave all of the rights of his dominion on all that the Lord had created to Satan. Jesus had to buy back that right at the cross. 

                   We all know that old saying that Satan sits in the front pew. Well He does. Every time the church doors are open. Waiting and watching for the weakest link. To single them out, and isolate them. And devour them. He even starts before the service. Whose not living a Christ-like life. Who is not reading their bible. Who is not fasting, praying and seeking the face of the Lord and not His hand. Who does not put all of their trust in Him. These are the ones who might make heaven their home by the skin of their teeth. I don’t want to just barely make heaven my home. I don’t just want my names in the lamb’s book of life. I want the whole enchilada. Philippians 3:10-14  10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; 11 If by any

means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. We are in an unusual race. In a race, I picture people running very fast. But in our race it is to be run with patience. Those of us who do that will endure to the end.

                     You see, the battle is for the Name of the Lord. Always has been always will be until that final day when the Lord rises victoriously and puts that baby to bed, or should I say that argument to bed. So now we see that we have to know our enemy, the authority that the Lord has given us, and that we need to be established in our walk with Him in order to make heaven our home. Then, He says we need to cry out for our deliverance from temptation. The Isrealites cried out for 400 years, for their deliverance.Exodus 3:7-12  7 And the Lord said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;8 And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.9 Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them.10 Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.11 And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?12 And he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this shall be a token unto thee, that I have sent thee: When thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain. The Lord wants to deliver all of His children.

                    I absolutely love 1 Corinthians 10:13. He will always  create a way of escape. He is faithful and true. Psalm 107:20 He sent

his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their

destructions. He sent His Word. Jesus is the Word according to John 1:1-4  1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.2 The same was in the beginning with God.3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.  So, this same word heals and delivers us. Delivers us from what? Every evil, or temptation.  Isaiah 61 The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified. 

                    When I first started walking with the Lord, this is one of many scriptures He spoke into my life. When I read this I hear Malachi 4:2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.  When I read these 2 scriptures, I hear, “Deliverance is in the HOUSE!!!!!!!” 

                 I remember the first few months of my salvation were oh so hard. I was seriously oppressed because of the many sins in my life I had to repent, ask for forgiveness and denounce my active part in those sins. I needed deliverance. The Lord was oh so kind. He gave me a book that spoke to my heart. The book showed me what I needed to be delivered. What doors I needed to close off, and how to keep them closed. The day that I was finally able to obtain my deliverance, the Lord held a special service for me. Told the minister all that was going to take place that day before it happened. While I’m talking to the minister, he saw the demons and how they were fighting to shut me up. You have to acknowledge your sins and your entire active role in them. If it is a fight to get you to shove it under the rug, you need to confess it! Why hide what the Lord already knows. Anyway, at the end of my deliverance, I asked the Lord to show me that the doors were sealed shut. I was surrounded by blood stained doors. My deliverance was sealed. I also left knowing what doors I could not even entertain. After that I was not only able to read the Word of God, I was able to keep it. I was able to understand what I was reading. After obtaining my deliverance from the Lord, I consumed all 4 gospels in 1 month. And I could tell you what I read and what it meant to me. Oh what freedom! 2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. Deliverance is in the house! Can we take a moment to just shout out His praises. Whatever we need He has for us.

                                   Next, we go back to acknowledging from whom all this comes from. The what and why. For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever, Amen. So, we come back to the beginning. Recognize what belongs to Him. Philippians 2:9-11  9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. We acknowledge what belongs to Him and then we give Him all of the glory due His name. Nothing we have really belongs to us. It all belongs to Him. We have no glory except in the one who saved us to the utmost. Jesus is our Savior and Lord. King of Kings and Lord of Lord’s. 

 If you do not know the Lord Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior. Let me introduce you to Him. It is real simple. First you must acknowledge that you are a sinner in need of a savior. Ask Him for His forgiveness for all of your sins and call them out to Him. Thank Him for His forgiveness. Then, forgive those who have sinned or transgressed against you. Then, repent. Repent means to change your mind concerning sinful habits. Change your choice making. Let Him influence your choice making decisions as you get in His Holy Word. Ask Him to be Lord over your life. I want to pray this prayer with you. But, this is just another outline. The real work begins after I pray with you. 

                    Lord Jesus, I confess my sins and ask for your forgiveness. Please come into my heart as my Lord and Savior. Take complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me and for answering my prayer. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

   Forgiveness Has Supernatural Miracle Working Power

                      Hello and welcome to My Little House of Prayer Bible Study. I am your host Dayla Smith. I am so glad that you could join me today as we discuss the topic of forgiveness. Today’s topic is from Matthew 6:12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Forgiveness comes with no exceptions! Matthew 6:12-15  12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. 

                  Forgiveness determines our salvation. We will not make heaven our home if we do not forgive even the unforgivable. You see, forgiveness is not for them. It’s for us. It is way too much power to give another human being. They took from us what we did not freely give. They didn’t ask. They just tried to change who we are in Christ Jesus, by stealing from us what wasn’t theirs to take. The Lord showed me this a long time ago, at the beginning of my walk. He had a lot of healing to do with my emotional wounds. My emotionally charged memories. If anger rises up in a memory of hurt, there is still an open wound filled with the puss of unforgiveness. As long as anger is there helping the puss of unforgiveness to accumulate, the wound festers. It festers until it starts affecting the rest of our lives. Our choice making decisions. We no longer see people and our world through the eyes of Jesus and His precious blood. 

                       Unforgiveness can bind up your prayers as you see in Matthew 6:14-15. It puts us and our adversary In spiritual chains and cages.Matthew 16:19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. These chains and cages were created only for Lucifer and his cohorts. They weren’t meant for us. Our prayers can not be heard or answered as long as we are walking in unforgiveness. At that point, the only prayer the He will hear is that of repentance. James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Psalm 34:18-20  18 The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.20 He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken. I don’t know about you, but I want my prayers answered. More than that, I want to make heaven my home. I don’t want anything to do with going to a devil’s hell. Matthew 18:15-20  15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

                      Earlier, I said that if anger rises up in a memory of hurt, there is still an open wound filled with the puss of unforgiveness. As long as anger is there helping the puss of unforgiveness to accumulate, the wound festers. Did you know that they have proven scientifically 90% of diseases are from unforgiveness. They have gone so far that another 19% is from unforgiveness towards ourselves. Wow! Is anyone getting some freedom from this? Psalm 103:3-5  3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

Psalm 23:3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Psalm 23:5-6  5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

                     If you have never read “A Shepherd’s Look at Psalm 23”, I strongly suggest that you do. Your local library should have it. It is such a great little book. It helps us see the love and care of our great shepherd toward each and every one of us. He cares so much for each and everyone of us. He wants us to be in divine health. 3 John 2-6  2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.3 For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth.4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.5 Beloved, thou doest faithfully whatsoever thou doest to the brethren, and to strangers;6 Which have borne witness of thy charity before the church: whom if thou bring forward on their journey after a godly sort, thou shalt do well:  I can’t tell you the many miracles He has worked in my health. Satan has been trying to kill me since conception. But, the Lord constantly delivers me. Psalm 141:9-10  9 Keep me from the snares which they have laid for me, and the gins of the workers of iniquity.10 Let the wicked fall into their own nets, whilst that I withal escape.

                 But, I had to grow and learn how to walk in forgiveness. In this day and age, just about everyone has an ailment of some kind. Do a soul check to see if and where we might have unforgiveness. And remember, Satan and his cohorts are always there to provide an opportunity for us to fall into his trap of unforgiveness. If we recognize it right by the leading of the Holy Spirit, we don’t have to fall into it. 1 Corinthians 2:10-16  10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ.

               Do you see now why we need the baptism of the Holy Spirit? I could not have gotten as far as I have so far without Him. My prayer language is the Holy Spirit praying through me. It is a perfect prayer, especially when I do not know what to pray. In these last days we will need His help more and more. John 14:16-21  16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

John 14:26-31  26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your   heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.29 And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.31 But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

Joel 2:27-32  27 And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the Lord your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come.32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call.

                     You see, the Lord promises to send us an aide in our walk. And, if we will be obedient to His leading, we will be able to walk in victory. He will help us to make heaven our home. The Lord is so generous to His children. The Holy Spirit will shine the love, light, and life of the LORD’s Torah truth on our emotional wounds, so that we can repent and be healed. 

                   Forgiveness affects our eyesight. How we see our world and others.1 Peter 3:9-12  9 Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.10 For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:11 Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.12 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.

                      I had a personal experience concerning my vision of forgiveness. An acquaintance of mine knew someone I knew. A person we knew was extremely abusive toward us. After I became a Christian, I forgave that person. She did not. She brought a friend to support her campaign. I kept speaking the word to her as she kept telling me that I had rose-colored glasses on. I was making excuses for that person. I tried to explain that forgiveness was for me not for him/her. Her friend started agreeing with me. When that happened she decided to take her friend back home. I was left with the question, “Do I have rose-colored glasses on, Lord?” He replied immediately with a shout of declaration, “Yes. Yes, you do. I am the rose of Sharon, the lily of the valley! You have my glasses on. You see people the way I see them. You are my child.” The friend in Christ that was sitting across from me, heard a rumble. Somehow, she knew that the Lord spoke to me. She asked, “What did He tell you?” In tears, I told her what He said. After that episode, the Lord started restoring all kinds of things that were taken from me, in unforeseen sources. Then later, He began having fun with the restorative power I had opened myself up to with the power of forgiveness.

                    You see, forgiveness unleashes a supernatural power in our life. It opens us up for supernatural miracles. It allows our prayers to get answered. It allows our body to be healed. It allows us to see others as he sees them. It is such a powerful weapon we have in our arsenal from Him. Proverbs 25:21-23  21 If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink: 22 For thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the Lord shall reward thee. 23 The north wind driveth away rain: so doth an angry countenance a backbiting tongue. Forgiveness can heap hot coals on our adversaries head. You know the old saying, “Kill them with kindness.”? It comes from this verse.

                             If you do not know the Lord Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior. Let me introduce you to Him. It is really simple. Thy Kingdom, Thy Will Be Done

   Thy Kingdom Come, Thy Will Be Done in Earth,

                                            as it is in Heaven.


                      Hello and welcome to my Little House of Prayer Bible Study. I am your host Dayla Smith. I am so glad that you could join me today. We are still discussing the outline Jesus created with the Lord’s prayer. Today we are going to talk about what He said in Matthew 6:10 Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.  So,first we create an atmosphere of prayer. We do a soul check and repent of any sin that we have committed. Ask for His forgiveness. Forgive those who have sinned against us. Then, we thank Him for His forgiveness. We must always come before Him with a Spirit of gratitude. We must acknowledge His holiness and His dwelling place. Now, he says to pray thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Wow! This verse alone can preach a message for days. I am so excited. When I tell you they are good! I can’t come up with the stuff all by myself. I stay at the feet of Jesus for this stuff. If even the angels practice staying at His feet, how much more so should we?

                     Thy Kingdom come, or should I say in today's English, your kingdom come. Remember the Lord is the King of Kings and Lord of Lord’s. There is none like Him. What is His Kingdom? It is 2 fold, or two parts. It is a place. It is also His Word. How can I say it is a place and yet His Word? What do I mean by this? Simple. Because of these 2 passages alone. John1:1_5  1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.2 The same was in the beginning with God.3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. 

John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

                So you see, Jesus is the Kingdom of God. John the baptist declared it! As a baby in the womb, he leapt for joy because of Him.Luke 1:41-44  41 And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost:42 And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.43 And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?44 For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.

                    Let’s look at  Mark 1:15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. Yes, we are still discussing the Kingdom of God. Jesus, the Word, is preparing a place in Himself, the very kingdom of God. So, how do we access the Kingdom of God? Well, Mark states it very simply and matter of factly. Repent. We must change our decision on whom we will follow. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11  9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. This is not a list of don’ts. It is a list of what to avoid at all costs. Isaiah declared his choice when he came into the  presence of the LORD. WE must acknowledge that we’re a sinner in need of a Savior. Ask for His forgiveness. Thank Him for it. Forgive those who have offended us. Then, let Him influence our choice making decisions. This is how we acknowledge the Kingdom of God and gain access to it and all of its amenities. 

                              Then, we have to acknowledge His will when we hear what the Word says, “thy  will be done.” I have had the experience of prayers that are said, “If it be your will, oh God.”  This is because people refuse to get in His word and learn what His will is, for the most part. I can’t stress the importance of finding a translation you will read, and read it. The enemy eats way too many Christians lunch because of this. We must bind him up and cast him out! When we realize that it is him and our flesh that are hindering us from doing what God has given us to do. Hindering us from our God given right. It should put a righteous indignation mixed with righteous stubbornness to do what God has given us to do.You can also bind your flesh. Try it out. It works. You can bind it up. But, you can’t cast it out.

                     Back to the subject at hand. Thy will be done. What is His will? He clearly states His divine will all throughout His word. Deuteronomy 30:15-16  15 See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;16 In that I command thee this day to love the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the Lord thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.

2 Corinthians 1:20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

Luke 12:32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

                               This is just to name a few. James 4:3 says, “ Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.” All of His promises are His divine perfect will. They are yes and amen. What are His promises? Isaiah 61 The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.4 And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.

                      Every miracle Jesus did on the earth was the Father’s will. John 6:38-40 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. 

                    The next statement is, “On earth as it is in heaven.” So, the kingdom and will are to be done on earth as it is in heaven. Everything that happens in the natural, on earth; happens in the spirit realm, the heavenlies. How do I know this? Because of what Jesus says in Matthew 18:18-20  18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

                 I spoke earlier of warfare in reading your bible. Well, that was just one example. Miracles come out of warfare. Miracles are the LORD’S freedom. His deliverance. Miracles are His perfect will. Matthew 11:12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.

Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

                     Jesus states in Luke 11:21-26  21 When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace:22 But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils.23 He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth.24 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out.25 And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished.26 Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.

                            So here, Jesus tells us how to walk in victory. We are in a battle. The battle lies within our flesh, the world, and Satan. If you notice when Jesus went into the wilderness, Satan tried to attack Him 3 times. #1. His flesh. #2. The world. #3. The devil. He tried to appeal to Jesus’ flesh. Jesus was on a fast in prayer. At that moment, He didn’t fight Satan on his terms, but with the Word of God. He bound up His flesh and refused to let it have its way. Next, Satan thought he could appeal again to Jesus’ flesh by showing Him the world. Again, He used the Word of God to address Satan. Then, the next time, it was uno o mono. One on one. It came down to the Lord’s Name vs Satan’s name. He was in a battle with the devil himself. Jesus never addressed Satan on His terms. He relied totally on the Word of God. There was a battlefield. This battlefield belongs to the LORD. Never fight Satan on His turf! The battle is always to be taken to the LORD. Read Psalm 91 if you question this. 

                          Now, when you bind your flesh, you can only call it into submission with the Word of God, found in your bible. Also, you must fast. This is the best way to get it under submission. Why, so you can hear from the Lord. Why do we need to hear from the LORD? 

2 Timothy 3:16-17  16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

                            Our flesh wants nothing to do with taking up our cross and following Jesus. And it can get quite loud when you are binding it up.  I know mine did. I even testified about it in an earlier lesson. The one on fasting. I was on a three day fast. Three days. That shouldn’t be a problem. “It’ll be fun, I said”. My flesh did not agree with this idea at all. So much so that it rose up and spoke very loudly to me. In my sleep as a matter of fact. I dreamed that I had been shot in the stomach. I was running around screaming for help, while trying to hold my blood and guts in. When I awoke, I had asked the Lord what that was all about. Hahahahaha. I know. I’m already starting to laugh about it. It wasn’t until I had gone to a morning prayer meeting. Keep in mind, it is 6:00 in the morning. So, everyone is quiet. We are praying. Every now and then, someone would speak up in a low voice. All of the sudden, the holy ghost spoke to me. “Your flesh is angry about this fast. It is shouting at you, ‘You shot a hole in here! Let’s fill it up!’” I could not contain myself. I broke out in laughter. I laughed so hard that my ribs hurt. No. I did not break my fast. That episode just made me more determined to finish it. I prayed even harder. And when my flesh would try to speak up about the hunger, I would command it in the name of Jesus to shut up. I would tell my flesh it was not getting its way today.

                     Next, Satan came against Jesus using his influence in the world. You know, let’s try and break the laws of physics. He is constantly using his influence in the world to cause us to slip and fall. You know, backslide. How do we overcome the world? Jesus states it right here inJohn 16:30-33  30 Now are we sure that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should ask thee: by this we believe that thou camest forth from God. 31 Jesus answered them, Do ye now believe?32 Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. We have to stand on the Word of God, completely trusting in Him. We have to know His Word in order to be able to stand against the enemy. Ephesians 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

                       The next battle was for the name of the LORD. Jesus just stood on the Word of the Lord and let His Father fight that battle for Him. We can not fight him on his own turf. We have to have the law of God written on the tablets of our heart. We have to know His word inside and out. In and of ourselves, we are no match for Him. I tried to help my daughter understand this. The only defense we have is the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ. Him and His precious blood. That is our only defense. We must have faith in the only one who can save to the utmost.

                I don’t know about you, but I am totally enjoying this lesson. Isn’t it precious? He wants us to know Him on such a personal level. He loves us so much that he left us a road map home. Even left us an example of how to navigate back home to Him.1 Chronicles 29:11 Thine, O Lord is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all. 

                          If we are willing to put our time into the will of Him who has called us by name, we have access to all of His wonderful promises. So, now we have another step of prayer. Another way to pray. To acknowledge His kingdom, His will, and that we have the power to control our environment, spiritually and physically.

                           For those of you who have not experienced a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, let me be the first to introduce you to Him. It is quite simple. His salvation is free. But, the upkeep is what costs. What is the cost, you ask. A life totally devoted to Him. That you are willing to deny your fleshly sinful desires in order to please Him. 

                           First you must acknowledge that you are a sinner in need of a savior. Ask Him for His forgiveness for all of your sins and call them out to Him. Thank Him for His forgiveness. Then, forgive those who have sinned or transgressed against you. Then, repent. Repent means to change your mind concerning sinful habits. Change your choice making. Let Him influence your choice making decisions as you get in His Holy Word. Ask Him to be Lord over your life. I want to pray this prayer with you. But, this is just another outline. The real work begins after I pray with you. 

                    Lord Jesus, I confess my sins and ask for your forgiveness. Please come into my heart as my Lord and Savior. Take complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me and for answering my prayer. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Today’s topic is Matthew 6:11 Give us this day our daily bread. You know, I think this one verse could preach for years to come and still preach some more. So far we have to create an atmosphere of prayer. We do a soul check and repent of any sin that we have committed. Ask for 

His forgiveness. Forgive those who have sinned against us. Then, we thank Him for His forgiveness. We must always come before Him with a Spirit of gratitude. We must acknowledge His holiness and His dwelling place. Then, he says to pray thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Acknowledge His dwelling place, His authority, and His will. Both in heaven and on earth. Now, He says to acknowledge His divine provision. Jehovah Jireh, the Lord is our provider.Genesis 22:1-14  And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am.2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.3 And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him.4 Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off.5 And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you.6 And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together.7 And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.9 And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood.10 And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son.11 And the angel of the Lord called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I.12 And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.13 And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.14 And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the Lord it shall be seen.

                      I know that sometimes I have a long passage to read. I have a few reasons for this. I hate time out scriptures. I am not trying to manipulate them to fit my thoughts, choices and/or ideas. Nor am I trying to convince you of a particular thought, idea and/or choice. There are so many truths in the Lord’s Word. But, you have to have a full picture to get to them. You know. Like Jesus said in Matthew 7:7-12  7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

                        You see, He even tells of His provision right here. Did you know that the Lord’s provision depends totally on us? He set laws for it. When we don’t learn of those laws, we cannot access His full provision. So, if we are lacking, we need to read the Word of God so that we can learn what law we are not observing and applying to our lives. Deuteronomy 8:3 And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live.

                  So, even in His word He tells us how to truly live. That His word will provide for us. Even the gifts he gives us makes provision for us. Proverbs 18:16 A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.

                     Isn’t that awesome. He has equipped us to prosper. 3 John 2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. 

2 Peter 3:9  The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

                   So, here is an example of His divine provision. How serious are we about serving Him who has redeemed us at all costs? Abraham showed just how serious He was. The Lord told Him to sacrifice His one and only son that the Lord gave him in his old age. This was as seriously sincere as it gets. You see, Sarah and Abraham were way too old biologically to keep producing children. And with them not getting younger, they were too old to continue to rear them up in the fear and admonition of the Lord. The Lord was always helping Abraham grow in faith. He was always creating miracles in Sarah and Abraham’s life. Isaac was just the icing on the cake. For God’s provision to work in our lives, we have to live a repentant lifestyle. We have to live a life that mirrors the example set by our Lord Jesus Christ. Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

                       You know, I heard this story a long while back. You may have heard it also. There was a gentleman who walked into this jewelry store. In the front of the store was all kinds of beautiful jewelry. But, there was no one in the front of the store.  He continued to look around. He finally saw something he just had to have. So, he waited for someone to come up front. After a while, he began to be concerned for the welfare of the owner. “Was he just robbed and 

possibly hurt.” he thought. This thought nagged at him. So, he hollered, “Hello! Is anyone here.” All of the sudden, he heard a voice from behind the curtain at the back of the store tell him to wait. At first, he was relieved to hear someone say to wait. That meant the owner was alright. So, he waited. After a while, he began to become aggravated. “How dare he tell me to wait. Doesn’t he know that I am a very busy man? Who does he think he is?” he thought. So, he walked to the back  of the store. He walked past the curtain. He saw a man standing over a pot that was sitting on a fire. He watched intently for a while. The man would stir the golden liquid every so often. Then, he would work with the fire. The gentleman looking on asked, “What are you doing? He told him, “I am purifying gold, or smelting gold.” “You can’t step away for a minute?” he asked. The man staring intently in the pot replied, “ No, I can’t. I can’t take my eyes off of this liquid for one second. The fire has to be just right. If it gets too hot, the heat will mar the gold. If it gets too cold, the impurities will remain.” “When do you know that it is finished?” The man replied, “When I see my reflection in  it.” This also reminds me of the song called "The Old Violin''.

                Needless to say, they both talk about the change Jesus Christ creates with your life. We have to live a submitted life in Christ in order to access the blessings and his provision.We must be Christ-like. Like the goldsmith, Jesus must see His reflection in us. And,  we must be willing to tell Him of our needs. Not because He doesn’t know about our needs. But, because it takes faith to believe that he is going to supply all of our needs for that day, and the days to come. Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

3 John 2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.      

Psalm 37:25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

                            Jesus and Moses both said, “It is written. Man shall not live by bread alone. But, by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. The Lord called Moses to the top of the mountain. He stayed there forty days and nights. Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness for forty days and nights. In both cases there was no food or water where they were at. And, it is in these places that they said, “It is written, man shall not live by bread alone. How did they survive? The LORD provided their daily bread. They drank of the living water. They fed on the heavenly manna. Every word out of the mouth of God.

                    The Lord prepares a spiritual table for each and everyone of His people everyday. Only those who are truly hungry, will recognize and eat from His table. He truly is the ultimate chef. How do you get to eat from His spiritual table? Prayer. Fasting. And most important, read the Word of God! I can’t stress the importance of this. Along with repentance. Repentance opens the door to the kitchen of God. Prayer acknowledges His welcoming voice. Fasting opens our ears to hear what He is trying to speak to our hearts. The bible or word of God is the feast He has set before you. So, stay hungry. Let’s hunger more for the things of God. This world is fleeting. But our spiritual destiny is eternal. His daily bread is a road map home. Home with Him. 

            So, stay hungry my friend. Ask Him for His daily bread for you each and every day. Remember Jesus said in the beatitudes, Matthew 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Do you want to be filled? Remember the woman at the well?John 4:10-14  10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.11 The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?12 Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

         In order to get to the daily bread, we have to hunger and thirst after righteousness. We have to get our lives in order. We all have to remember and know that we are a sinner in need of a savior. Ask and thank Him for His daily bread. 

                 If you do not know the Lord Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior. Let me introduce you to Him. It is really simple. First you must acknowledge that you are a sinner in need of a savior according to the mirror of the law of the Lord. Ask Him for His forgiveness for all of your sins and call them out to Him. Thank Him for His forgiveness. Then, forgive those who have sinned or transgressed against you. Then, repent. Repent means to change your mind concerning sinful habits. Change your choice making. Let Him influence your choice making decisions as you get in His Holy Word. Ask Him to be Lord over your life. I want to pray this prayer with you. But, this is just an outline. The real work begins after I pray with you because it is a very personal walk with the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth. 

                    Lord Jesus, I confess my sins and ask for your forgiveness. Please come into my heart as my Lord and Savior. Take complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me and for answering my prayer. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
