Don't Look at the Mountain

Don’t Look At the Mountain

I have a testimony to share with you today. I have a friend who has a plantation home. The property covers a whole block. The Lord has truly blessed him. Anyway, he has a lot of trees on his property. And, in the fall. A lot of leaves to rake. So, this one year, he decided to have a rake leaves party. Invited anyone who had a rake and wanted to help. I was one of them. So, everyone took a piece of the yard to rake. I was raking a long and praying. While I was praying, the holy spirit led me into warfare. Well, as the warfare became intense, so did my raking. But, I wasn’t aware. Hahahahahaha All of the sudden I was finished making my piles of leaves, and I felt eyes on me. Hahahahahahaha. “Why are you all standing there looking at me like that?”, I asked. Their reply was, “ What happened to you? You pushed us all out of the way as you were raking.” Then I began to explain what took place in the spirit realm with me.

When I began to rake, I looked at the yard. The Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, “Don’t look at the mountain. It is designed to wear you out. Just start raking piles. Well, after that, I began to pray. Then, I entered a prayer of warfare. I was in the Spirit realm at that moment. It got intense and I became righteously indignant. I appologized for pushing people out of my way. But, we all had a good giggle about it. Because of the intensity and not concentrating on how

much I was getting done, I had raked half a block. Hahahahahahahaha.

With that in mind, let’s look at the Israelites coming out of Egypt.  Numbers 14:33 And your children shall wander in the wilderness forty years, and bear your whoredoms, until your carcases be wasted in the wilderness. 34 After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my breach of promise.

What was supposed to be a 40 day journey, now took 40 years. Why? Because they were looking at their mountain. They were concentrating on the things of Egypt they had left behind. Let me say this, if you have decided to follow Jesus. Then, you are to take up your cross. Walk one step at a time with Him. Your life is no longer your own! Quit looking back! There’s nothing back there you need to go back for. You are called to go forward, not backward! You can’t have your cake and eat it too! You can’t serve God and mammon. (The things of this world.) They had a whole lot of murmuring and complaining. If you are murmuring and complaining about the changes the Lord wants to make in your life, you are in sin. And it is just another sin to repent of. You know, It’s o.k. to go to the Lord and tell him about the sin you don’t want to give up. Watch this.Isaiah 1:18-20 18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. 19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: 20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

They wanted the freedom of the Lord. But, they didn’t want to leave the things of Egypt behind. What don’t you want to leave behind? Let it go. It is only a hindrance to what the Lord has in store for you. Which is much greater. Because of their refusal to leave the things of Egypt, He let their own sins detroy them. If they had only quit looking at the mountain. Quit seeing the trees instead of the forest. Quit distrusting the Lord to take them to a truer place of freedom. Sin cannot dwell in the presence of the Lord. We must allow Him to remove it from our hearts. We must learn to trust Him. Trust Him to take us to a place where we worship Him and Him alone. A place of His glory falling on us. That was the whole point of the deliverance from Egypt. So they could go to the mount of God and worship Him.

We are constantly called higher. Our Father in heaven wants to bless us. Not once, but regularly. On a regular basis. The word this week for God’s people is this:

My children, I love you. You are my children. You are children of the Most High. Children of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. I own the cattle of a thousand hills. And, I am calling you to step out and trust me. Revelation 3:8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. You are mine. I want you to get in your place now. You are a king's kid. I want you to dress and act as such. This is your time of preparation for what is about to take place. Why? Because you will be training those who come in to also be a king’s kids. You are going to need each other more and more. Remember my words? To whom much is given, much is required. If you wait for revival it will be too late. Get ready and in your places, now. How, you ask. By having a constant anticipation that this will be the hour. This will be the day. This will be the time. I have called you all to go out into the highways and byways.  If all you want to do is check just going to church off your list, be forewarned, I will check you off My Lamb’s book of Life. Matthew 7:17-2117 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them. 21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.

The Lord is about souls. Especially each and everyone of ours. He loves us. And, does not want to lose anyone. He will always leave the 99 to chase down the one. Why? To bring that soul back to the flock. Now, back to the subject of Don’t Look at the Mountain.

I saw what the Lord was teaching me in that experience. I have carried it with me in so many other experiences. House cleaning, laundry, etc… He taught me that when He is trying to take me somewhere, The enemy wants my attention off of the Lord, and onto the circumstance itself. Let’s look at   Matthew 14:22-33  22 And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away. 23 And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone. 24 But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary. 25 And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. 26 And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear. 27 But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.28 And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. 29 And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. 30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. 31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? 32 And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased. 33 Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.

This is my favorite passage. Poor Peter. Always being made an example in new situations. An example of being a babe in Christ at each new situation. He wanted Peter to learn to completely trust in Him who commanded the waves. To learn to walk on the waters of His name. How powerful is this! That is what He wants for all of His children. After they had gotten on the ship. Wait. Did you see that? In verse 31, Jesus stretched out His hand, and did what? Caught him. When you catch something, you have a firm grasp on it. Jesus carried Peter back to the boat. Did He remove the wind and waves? No. Not till they entered the ship. Why? He wanted Peter to know He could put all of his faith in the one who carried Him. That if the Lord calls us to walk on the waters of his name, He will definitely be there to catch us. To Carry us all the way to shore. He is our firm foundation to walk on. Look at Psalms 91: 9 Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; 10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. 11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

Then, let’s look at Numbers 23: 19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

Like I’ve said before, in today’s society, we are taught we can’t trust authority.  I can testify to this. My father, who was completely lost at the time. No relationship with the LORD whatsoever, stole some money from me. I was a child at the time. About 6 years old. About. When I found out, I was saddened by it. How could he do that to me? I was his daughter. He was supposed to love me. Love doesn’t steal. I asked him, “Why?” He then smirked like a Cheshire cat and replied, “ So you will learn that not even your parents can be trusted.” I was in complete shock. I couldn’t believe he had done this to me. It hurt to hear him say that neither he nor my mama loved me enough to not steal from me. That in that moment, they didn’t love me.  But, the LORD says we can trust His love for us. He will not drop us. Storms will come. That is a given. Sometimes He silences the storm. But, sometimes He chooses not to. No matter what, we are to trust His divine headship. That He is faithful and true. Did you know that He has 12 Governmental names. He tells us what they are when He visits Moses on the mountain. They are LORD, God, Merciful, Gracious, Long-Suffering, Abundant in Goodness, Abundant in Truth, Preserver of Bountifulness, Forgiver of Iniquity, Forgiver of Transgression, Forgiver of Sin, Just Judge. Did you get all that? Every one of His 12 governmental names says He can be trusted.

Luke 11:1-11says, “11 And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples. 2 And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. 3 Give us day by day our daily bread. 4 And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. 5 And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him, Friend, lend me three loaves; 6 For a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and I have nothing to set before him? 7 And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee. 8 I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needeth. 9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. 10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. 11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?

How do you like this? It comes back to the ministry of My Little House of Prayer. To teach people about prayer. How to pray. That prayer is a mere having a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, His Father, and His Holy Spirit. I told you I just wanted to share the lessons that I’ve learned along the way in my walk with Him. He wants to teach all of His children how to pray. Why? Because he wants a real relationship with each and everyone of us. He wants a conversation with each and everyone of us. How did I get the title My Little House of Prayer? He gave it to me. How? Through a visiting minister who came to see what the Lord had done so far in my life.As she walked through my home, she kept saying, “ I can feel His anointing in this place. This house is drenched in prayer.” That just blessed my socks off.  Then, as she was leaving the property, the Holy Spirit stopped her dead in her tracks. And, she began to prophesy. “ The Lord is calling it His little house of prayer. He wants you to make a sign. And, put it on the outside of your house. People are going to want to come to you. To learn how to pray. “ Well, that was my vision already. The day the house arrived. Since I was saved, I asked the Lord for an upper room. When I walked in He said, “Look up. Take your pick.” I had two upper rooms. I squealed with delight. And, that is when I caught the vision.

I know, you’re thinking, “I thought this was about not looking at the mountain.” It is. Not looking at the mountain has paved the road to this point and time. Salvation is a walk of one step at a time. One day at a time. One choice at a time.  Isn’t this beautiful? That’s where the Lord wants to take us. That is how we will enter the Kingdom of heaven. One repentance at a time. One prayer at a time. If He delivered us of all of our sins at once, there would be no relationship. It would utterly destroy you. He knows what we can handle. How much, or how little. He cares for each and everyone one of us. And, wants us to make heaven our home more than we do.

If you have not received Christ as your savior. Pray the prayer of salvation that is on this page. And, let me welcome you to the kingdom. So excited that you made the greatest decision in your life. I am here to pray with and for you. So feel free to leave a comment at the bottom of my pg. I have left a link to email me, to support financially My Little House of Prayer Ministry, And to subscribe on this page. Would be so glad to hear from you. And thank you so much in advance for all of your support.

Where Are Your Accusers?

 Where Are Your Accusers?

Welcome to My Little House of Prayer Bible study. So glad you could join us today. I Hope you are all doing well. The title of today’s message is Where Are Your Accusers? She was visiting with me at My Little House of Prayer. The wind blew my door against my house with a big bang. She jumped. Then, when I looked at her, her hands were shaking. I know there are those of you who have fear visiting in the form of ptsd. Let me say, I am so sorry that you have to fight with that. But, let me be the first to say Jesus is here at this moment to put a complete end to this. But, let me add, the decision is completely yours.

Let’s look at John 8 Jesus went unto the mount of Olives. And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them.3 And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst,4 They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.5 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?6 This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.8 And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.9 And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst10 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

There are so many lessons here. So many beautiful truths in this passage. Powerful truths. Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent to heal the broken hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord. To set the captives free. To set at liberty them that are bruised. Are you held captive by fear from ptsd? Let me tell you, He came to set you free! I’m so excited about this message. I love when the Lord says He is going to heal His people today. Don’t you think it’s time? Hallelujah!

There is so much room for ptsd and fear in this passage. Some of you have been bruised by people who claim to be a Christian. Christian means to be Christ - like. First let’s address where this all took place. Jesus was in the synagogue, or church . Jealousy rose up in the priests (saducees and pharasees and whoever else thought they were high and mighty.) They drag out the weaker vessel. The woman. There is no sign of the man in this passage. She was caught in the act. Well, the act they are accusing her of takes 2 people, last time I checked. Where do they take her. To the front of the church for all to see! How embarrassing this was. Enough to make anyone never turn to God. Especially for their deliverance from God. What do they do? Accuse her. Revelation 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and of His Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. They were acting like Satan at that point. The priest and anyone who joined with them. So, you see, Satan sends His people to church all the time. He knows exactly what buttons to push with each and everyone of us to keep us from getting our freedom in Christ. To try to prove to you that the LORD is not a just judge. That He is a respecter of persons.  Which is totally false. He loves His creation. He called each and everyone of us good when He created us.Are you starting to relate here? If you have been injured by someone in the body of Christ, you need to forgive them in order to have access to His healing. Forgiveness is not for them. It is for you to have the promises of God. Forgiveness does not erase the act. To say the act didn’t happen would be a lie. He does not lie! When you forgive, He heals that wound. He erases the pain of the memory. This is what forgiveness brings to you. So, after you repent of unforgiveness, you forgive; then, ask the Lord to heal your emotions. Let me add, if you don’t forgive, you will not be saved. You will not see the Kingdom of heaven. Period. That’s way too much power to give someone. Why hand them your salvation also.

Now, let’s look at what Jesus' response was. Twice He addressed them with complete silence while writing on the ground. He wrote twice. According to Sister B.R. Hicks, who sat under scribes of ancient hebritical writing, says that ground in that passage is pronounced kar - kah. Kar - kah means bottom of the sea. What He wrote on the ground went all the way to the bottom of the sea. He buries our sins where? In the sea of forgetfulness. You can find this in Job 26:26-30 John 8:12 I am the light [ore light] of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

That same ore light lit up the bottom of the sea. Verse 9 says they who heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: That means with every letter he wrote on the ground, an earthquake occurred. Until God shakes you - until you personally hear the Power of the Word - you will not change. When His truths by the Power of His Word shakes and quakes you to the core, you can truly repent. How powerful is that? The accusers became accused. Hahahahahaha Look at the Lord’s vindication! I love when He shows up. First, He silences her accusers. Then, He turns His attention to her. He is no longer writing on the ground. Because He wants to heal her. How much abuse in her life brought her to this place? He saw it all. No, abuse was the devil’s plan, not His. But, showed up at the right time in her life. He silenced her accusers. He silenced the voice of abuse. He silenced the voice of fear. He silenced the voice of PTSD. They no longer had a voice to speak to her. She no longer had a reason to fear. Afraid of not knowing when the next blow would show up to bring her harm. Harm to her body. Harm to her emotions. Harm to her spirit. Psalm 3:3 says But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me: my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. May I suggest you read the whole chapter 3 of Psalms.

10 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. My favorite passage. He made her take notice of her surroundings. Fear and PTSD were no longer there to speak against her in any way, or form. There was the beginning of her healing. What does he say next. I don’t condemn you either. In other words, my daughter, my son, this is not how I see you. This is, was, and never will be my plan for your life.

That is what He is saying to you today. Hallelujah! He loves us with an everlasting love. After He addresses her surroundings, He then addresses the sin in her life. The legal right for fear and PTSD to remain or leave. The choice was now in her hands. She had the voice behind her voice with her choices. The sin no longer had a legal right to her. She had the right to choose what happened to her body, her emotions, and her spirit.

I hope you would let Jesus show up for you today. If you are tuning in today, He wants to be your all in all. He wants to heal your body, emotions, and spirit. He wants you to choose Him over the sin in your life. He wants the legal right, and all of its cohorts to be gone today. He wants to bring silence to all of your accusers today. But, He is a gentleman. He will not push. He knocks on the door of our hearts. He doesn’t knock the door down and walk right on in. We have to choose to open the door. So, that He can be the voice behind our voice. If you have not accepted Christ into your heart. I want to pray the Prayer of Salvation with you today. You must be saved and water baptized. You must repent of your sins. Recognize who Jesus is. Ask Him to come into your heart. To put his divine headship there. To be real in your life. Then, get a bible that you can and will read.  I suggest you go to the gospels to learn who He is and what He desires of you. But, don’t stop there. Read the whole thing. Plead the blood of Jesus over what you are about to read. And let the Lord begin to speak to you in His word. Pray. Seek His face. Let Him take you on an adventure. Let me say this, apparently if you are reading or tuning in right now, And you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior or, you are backslidden from your walk with Him, this is for you.  Let’s pray the prayer of salvation right now. Lord Jesus, I confess my sins and ask for your forgiveness. Please come into my heart as my Lord

and Savior. Take complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me and for answering my prayer. In Jesus’ name. Amen. Now, let me say welcome to the family of God. There is a huge party in heaven going on right now for all of you.

Now, let’s address healing and deliverance from your accusers, PTSD, and fear. Let’s pray together.

Lord, God, I come before you now. I see my sin. The transgression and iniquity of it. I repent of it right now. I denounce my participation in it that gave it the legal right to remain. (may I suggest you cough right now, as an act of faith. That it leave right now.) Please forgive me and cleanse me of all the iniquity, transgression, and sin. I thank you for doing and have done this. I forgive those who have abused me. Who has joined with me in sin. I repent of joining with those in their sin. I ask for your forgiveness. I thank you for it.

Lord, I come before you with my brothers and sisters. I thank you for being the voice behind their voice. For silencing all of their accusers. For putting fear, and PTSD out. For giving them back their right to choose you or nothing. I thank you that sin is at the bottom of the sea of forgetfulness, never to be remembered by you again. Help us Lord, to keep it there also. I thank you right now, PTSD, Come out!!! I bind you in chains. I put you in a cage with a musel.  You can never minister to any part of them any longer! I cast you into the pit until the day of judgement! I bind you up, fear. You come out! Right now! I bind you up and put you in chains. I put a musel on you. You can no longer minister to any part of them. PTSD! Fear! I shout at you like you shouted at them! I command that you cannot rend or tear anyone listening, them, or me in retribution. You can not send other friends with an assignment or attack in retribution. They have taken all of your rights away. Jesus has given them the right to choose. I thank you Lord Jesus. I call this done in Your mighty Name. The Name above all names. The darling of heaven. Thank you so much for setting my friends, who are sisters and brothers in Christ Jesus, free today. I seal this prayer with the blood of Jesus. I call it done. In Jesus mighty name, amen.

Gather the Fragments, Make Sure Nothing is Lost

Gather the Fragments, Make Sure Nothing is Lost

John 6:10 And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.11 And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.12 When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.13 Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten.

My Pastor was reading this passage aloud. It was verse 12 that stood out to me. The Lord wastes nothing. Nor does He expect us to. Before I get into the meat of this discussion, let’s look at verse 10 And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. Here is an example of why I say you should read the bible from front to back. The old testament is a type and shadow of the new testament. The new testament is the fulfillment of all the laws and prophecies, or prophets in the old testament. Go to Psalm 23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. In chapter 6 of John the people were getting hungry. They had been there with Jesus all day long being  spiritually fed.The 5 thousand were just the men. That count didn’t include the women and the children. Everyone was getting hungry. The disciples went to Jesus. They explained that everyone was hungry. But how would they finance feeding everyone? A young boy shows up and says, “Hey, I have 5 loaves and 2 fish.” I’m sure the disciples wanted to dismiss him. “Get out of here! That isn’t enough.” What did Jesus do. Make everyone sit down. Then, He gave thanks to the Father. His Father. Hen looked at what was an impossible situation. Then, gave thanks to the one in whom all things were possible. And, then something miraculous happened. They pass out the food. And, not just a crumb. As much as each man could eat until they were satisfied. And, if that weren’t enough. What does Jesus do next? He says gather the fragments. Make sure there is nothing lost. Do What!? Pick up crumbs?! What do you mean pick up the crumbs? We started out with not enough to feed anyone. Then, we feed everyone. And, now you are saying there are crumbs left?  I could imagine at least one of the disciples had to be like me. “O.K. Lord. If you say so. I’ll look. But, I don’t think there’ll be any crumbs left.” And, after they had finished gathering the crumbs, they filled 12 baskets.

Do you remember my last lesson It’s All About the Name? The 12 governmental names of the Lord? LORD, God, merciful, gracious, long-suffering,  abundant in goodness, abundant in truth, preserver of bountifulness, forgiver of iniquity, forgiver of transgression, forgiver of sin, just judge. Twelve in scripture speaks of government. His government. It was His government that fed everyone. 12 disciples. 12 baskets. Over 5,000 people. Everyone fed. Wow. Make sure nothing is lost.

Remember earlier, I talked about the old testament and the new. Let’s look at  Exodus 16:1-2716 And they took their journey from Elim, and all the congregation of the children of Israel came unto the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after their departing out of the land of Egypt.2 And the whole congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness:3 And the children of Israel said unto them, Would to God we had died by the hand of the Lord in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the flesh pots, and when we did eat bread to the full; for ye have brought us forth into this wilderness, to kill this whole assembly with hunger.4 Then said the Lord unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no.5 And it shall come to pass, that on the sixth day they shall prepare that which they bring in; and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily.6 And Moses and Aaron said unto all the children of Israel, At even, then ye shall know that the Lord hath brought you out from the land of Egypt:7 And in the morning, then ye shall see the glory of the Lord; for that he heareth your murmurings against the Lord: and what are we, that ye murmur against us?8 And Moses said, This shall be, when the Lord shall give you in the evening flesh to eat, and in the morning bread to the full; for that the Lord heareth your murmurings which ye murmur against him: and what are we? your murmurings are not against us, but against the Lord.9 And Moses spake unto Aaron, Say unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, Come near before the Lord: for he hath heard your murmurings.10 And it came to pass, as Aaron spake unto the whole congregation of the children of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and, behold, the glory of the Lord appeared in the cloud.11 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,12 I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel: speak unto them, saying, At even ye shall eat flesh, and in the morning ye shall be filled with bread; and ye shall know that I am the Lord your God.13 And it came to pass, that at even the quails came up, and covered the camp: and in the morning the dew lay round about the host.14 And when the dew that lay was gone up, behold, upon the face of the wilderness there lay a small round thing, as small as the hoar frost on the ground.15 And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, It is manna: for they wist not what it was. And Moses said unto them, This is the bread which the Lord hath given you to eat.16 This is the thing which the Lord hath commanded, Gather of it every man according to his eating, an omer for every man, according to the number of your persons; take ye every man for them which are in his tents.17 And the children of Israel did so, and gathered, some more, some less.18 And when they did mete it with an omer, he that gathered much had nothing over, and he that gathered little had no lack; they gathered every man according to his eating.19 And Moses said, Let no man leave of it till the morning.20 Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto Moses; but some of them left of it until the morning, and it bred worms, and stank: and Moses was wroth with them.21 And they gathered it every morning, every man according to his eating: and when the sun waxed hot, it melted.22 And it came to pass, that on the sixth day they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for one man: and all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses.23 And he said unto them, This is that which the Lord hath said, To morrow is the rest of the holy sabbath unto the Lord: bake that which ye will bake to day, and seethe that ye will seethe; and that which remaineth over lay up for you to be kept until the morning.24 And they laid it up till the morning, as Moses bade: and it did not stink, neither was there any worm therein.25 And Moses said, Eat that to day; for to day is a sabbath unto the Lord: to day ye shall not find it in the field.26 Six days ye shall gather it; but on the seventh day, which is the sabbath, in it there shall be none.27 And it came to pass, that there went out some of the people on the seventh day for to gather, and they found none.

I kept thinking about the manna the Lord gave the Isrealites. Look at verses 16-19. Do you see the similarity  between Jesus with the 5 loaves and two fishes and the Isrealites with the bread from heaven, manna, angels food? The same direction was given. Gather the fragments. Make sure nothing is lost. In one of Jesus’ parables, Luke 15:3-10 Barley loaves in Jesus’ day were the poorest food.  It was reserved for the poor. The Lord wastes nothing. Not even people. He created you. He is the author of life. Five loaves, five-thousand. The number five in scripture means grace. It was the Lord’s grace that fed the Isrealites. It was the Lord’s grace that fed the 5,000 men, not counting women and children. It is His grace meeting you here today. Are you lost today? Why don’t you come and be found today? Don’t waste another second of your life. You're not a mistake. You have a lot to offer. The Lord has placed many gifts and talents in you. He doesn’t want you lost any longer. Let’s pray.

It's All About the Name

  It's All About the Name

Hello and welcome to My Little House of Prayer. Hmmmm. I know what you're thinking. I thought this was a podcast. Why is she calling it a house of prayer? Are we going to pray?  And what does she mean by it's all about the name? In the book of Proverbs 22:1 A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favor rather than silver and gold. You see even your name is considered special and something to protect. Back in the old days, a man’s name was backed by His word. Still is. (Don’t lend to Joe Smith. He doesn’t stand by His name.) (His name is worth His salt.) Back in the day, this meant a person’s name was good. Salt being a source of payment. It could not be destroyed. Salt can withstand intense heat and extreme cold. People today  don’t consider how special their name is. Parents love to tell stories about how they came up with their child's name. When it really was by the inspiration of God. Go look up the biblical meaning of your whole name. You will be surprised how much your name speaks over your life.

The Lord’s name is special, too. He stands by His name, also. He has 12 governmental names He stands by. He has many more that describe who He is. But, these are about how He governs. In Exodus 34:5-7, He declares His Governmental names.

  1. LORD    2. God   3.   Merciful     4. Gracious   5. Long-Suffering   6. Abundant in Goodness   7. Abundant in Truth  8. Preserver of Bountifulness   9. Forgiver of iniquity   10. Forgiver of transgression   11. Forgiver of sin   12. Just Judge

In all of His Names He is a Just Judge. In Genesis 3:1-19 Adam and Eve believed the serpent when he questioned God’s Headship. Hath God really said? Oh no. He didn’t mean you shouldn’t. He’s Holding back on you. He’s afraid you will be like him. Funny thing, in Genesis 1:26 “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let him have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 28: So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them. Does that sound like He was holding back? I don’t think so. Sounds more like Isaiah 14:12-24.  Satan saw that God had given the deed to rule over the garden to Adam and Eve. He saw the LORD’s favor in their lives and it ate him up! So, he goes to convincing Eve first, she being the weaker vessel, He entices her to usurp God’s authority and instead of going to the other overcoming trees which would have testified and led her to the tree of life, she goes straight past the tree of life to the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Giving up her birthright as a child of God, she never learns who Christ is. And then, about the knowledge of good and evil. The Lord wanted them to grow in His measure and stature. But, Lucifer convinced them otherwise. They never repented. How do I know this? Because the Lord in all of His goodness, kept asking questions to get them to acknowledge their sin and repent. Instead, they played the blame game right out of the garden of Eden. The bible never says that they repented. It says God’s word came to pass. That they were sorrowful. But, never did it say that they repented. Also, the LORD does nothing perchance. Interestingly, He talks of Lucifer in 12 verses. 12 in scripture represents government. And what is the 12th governmental name? Just Judge.

Something interesting just took place the last 3 days. The Lord has called me and urged me to start this blog, a podcast, and a bible study. I already see a trend. The number 3 keeps popping up. Hahahaha The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Unity. Agreement. Anyway, this is proving that the Lord is calling me to do this. Just in case I needed any more confirmation. Hahahahahahahaha. The name of the blog is My Little House of Prayer. The URL is hopundertheblood.blogspot.com It was the only url that the bloggers site accepted. Hahaha My sister in Christ helped me set it up. We worked well into the evening on it. God bless her for her patience with me. It was at 10:00pm that she realized the statement the link made. Hop under the blood. We laughed till we cried. My paypal acct. Didn’t even blink at the statement. All the other accounts I had to set up didn’t blink at it. I would just shake my head. If you stay with me long enough you will get to know my 2 dogs real well. Princess the chihuahua and Bella the labrador. Princess has been with me since she was born. Bella just showed up at my doorstep. Princess likes to act like she is soooooo jealous and non-accepting of Bella. But, when I go to take Bella out of the room, she cries for her to come back. If you zoom in the picture above the report abuse words you can actually see her sticking her tongue out at Bella. That’s another story for another time. Every year I make my animals dress up and take a family Christmas picture. Well, this is Bella’s first Christmas. I warned them both, “ Let mamma have her Christmas picture or no Christmas gifts.” Don’t tell them that this isn’t true. Anyway, look how I am holding them. The Christmas pic is above the paypalme link. One on her best behavior. The other being a complete goofball. I am just holding them both close to me with a big smile on my face at both of them. Yes, it seems like I am chasing a rabbit trail. But, in reality, the Father asked me to share this moment with you. Someone out there is doubting His great love for you. You’ve done too much. Way too much clowning. Way too much wrong to ever be accepted by Jesus. Well, I’m a living testimony to the fact that He says nothing is unredeemable. Nothing is too far from redemption. He Loves you way too much, to say you are a lost cause. He says, “ I dare you to trust my love! Come to Me! Come! Hop under the blood of My Son, Jesus Christ. Where you will find safety and peace. Let me Cover you with the blood of My Son. All you have to do is call out to me. Call out to the Lord and you will be saved. Then, get in a bible and learn all you can about Him. Start in the gospels. But, don’t stop there. Read the whole thing. It’s important for your spiritual growth. You will die spiritually without it. Oh, just a side note: If you can’t read, get a bible on cassette,cd, mp3, or even youtube. Those of you who don’t own a bible, they have the holy Bible on the internet with all of the different translations.

So, back to the subject. It’s all about the Name. As you can see, God does nothing perchance. My trek in setting up the blog and other stuff had to do with the Name. His Name. Even His 12 governmental names. Let’s look at Isaiah 14:13-14. There are a whole lot of I’s there. He had the I complex. Lucifer was coming against the 12 governmental names of the LORD.  He wanted to be God. So, he could have the name. Even though Lucifer has been cast out of heaven, he is still trying to steal the name. Each lost soul that dies and goes to hell, the accuser says, “See my name was greater in his/her life. They made me lord over their life.” Every sickness and disease, every addiction, every sin known to man, every tragedy, every war and every evil is the enemy’s way of trying to take the Name. The battle of Armageddon will be about the name. The great judgement day will be about the Name. The One Name. The Only Name.

When the Lord called Moses, he asked, “What shall I call you that sent me? The Lord answered him, ”I Am that I Am sent you.” All that you need, sends you. More than what you could hope or ask for, sends you. Isaiah 9:6 “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the Government shall be on His shoulder: and His Name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 62:2 “And the gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the LORD  shall name. Zechariah 14:9 “And, the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and His name one.

So, you see, it’s all about the Name. His name. His name in you. If you are a Christian, He lives in you. His name is in you. You are a Christian. Christ - like. Are you a Christian? Are you Christ - like? If not, can I invite you to be a Christian? Can I invite you to be Christ-like? Pray with me. Go to the salvation prayer on this page and pray with me. After you have prayed, let me say to you, ”Welcome to the family of God.”

When and How to Wear Your Rose - Colored Glasses

Hello. My name is Dayla Smith. Let me welcome you to My Little House of Prayer. Today I want to talk about when and how to wear your rose colored glasses.  “Huh? Do what? What do you mean by this? I didn’t know we had to wear rose colored glasses in our walk.” You might be thinking. Most of us know that when you accuse someone of wearing  rose colored glasses, we are saying that they are not facing reality. Have you ever been accused of wearing rose colored glasses? Has this happened to you for the cause of Christ? This has happened to me for the cause of Christ. Let me share my testimony.

Growing up, I was always accused of being naive, or gullable. Well,I got saved in october of 1993. I began  walking with the Lord. I get saved and baptized in the Holy Ghost. The next thing I experience is His delivering hand. I was so bound up, I couldn’t read the word of God. When I could, it was like I had holes in me. It would just run out. After my deliverance, I consumed all 4 gospels in a month like a starving child. And, I could tell you what I read. I knew that I knew He had delivered me. Well slowly, the Lord started dealing with me about forgiveness. First, I had to forgive myself of the sins I had committed. Especially toward others. Most of that was easy. Not all of it. But most of it. Which in turn meant I had to receive forgiveness from others. I Guess you can see where this is going. Anyway, the next step was that I had to forgive others. Most were easy. But, then the Lord zeroed in on my unforgiveness towards my father. I remember my brother in Christ telling me that I had to forgive him. I said, “Nope! Not doin’ it.” “Dayla, you have to. You won’t make heaven your home if you don’t.” he replied. I remember turning around with all the venom and anger I had in me and loudly said, “ When that man dies I will dance on His grave. I will never forgive him.” My brother in Christ tried to talk to me. But, I wouldn’t listen. When you grow up under abuse, especially as a lost person, you find it very hard to forgive. Well, lesson #1: Don’t ever say never and let the Lord hear you. He knew what was going to have to happen. He was going to help me forgive by removing a bitter root out of me. You heard me. The precious Holy Spirit worked on me. One evening, I was coming back from a bible study.

I was riding in the back of a car. I began to argue with the Lord. Everyone around me could hear my side of the conversation. I personally think at that moment they all thought that I was nuts. I know that if I were them, I would have. Let me tell you that no one expected what came next. I scared them and me at that moment. They were bringing me home. As we got by house, I literally jumped out of the moving vehicle. I ran into my apartment. Shut and locked the door. Turned off all of the lights. And, ran into my bathroom and huddled up in a corner. It became as still as a churchmouse in my apartment. At that moment, the Lord gently and lovingly said, “Dayla, don’t you know I Am the Door.” At that moment, I began to cry,”Daddy it hurts so much.” After that, I barely remember going into my living room and laying down on my couch. It was in the afternoon and the seat of my couch was a plywood board. No blankets whatsoever. I laid down and went to sleep. When I awoke it was dark outside. I was disoriented. I felt like I was in my soft bed all covered up with my covers. I awoke and was different. I was no longer bitter. I had real joy. I didn’t immediately realize the veracity of what happened. But, I knew I was different. Then, the Lord took me on a walk of forgiveness. You see, he couldn’t do anything till He got the root of the problem out. The Lord does not believe in just putting a bandaid on your wounds and walking away hoping you heal on your own. That’s the beauty of the cross. He was wounded for our transgressions. Bruised for iniquity. And, by His stripes we are healed. He takes His finger and touches on the place that He wants to heal, and then, He starts scrubbing   and removing the debris. Then He puts His salve in the wound. And Heals you of every disease. He heals us of  every emotionally charged memory. And if this isn’t enough, He sets us free.

Now, forgiveness towards my parents took some time. But, after that night, I kept saying .“ I  forgive them, Lord.” The Lord chose to teach me about forgiveness. I am forever grateful to the Lord for being so patient with me. For taking His time with me. For surrounding me with people that spoke His wisdom in my life. If you are unteachable, you are unreachable. He took time, and walked with me through all of the muck and the mire in my heart. He is still walking me through it. But, forgiveness is getting easier and easier.

After that night, He began to send teachings to me. He took me through the scriptures. This didn’t happen overnight. It took some years to get me here.

Exodus 34:7 Numbers 14:18 2 Chronicles 7:14 Matthew 6:12 -15; 18:21-35 Mark 11:22-26

Luke 23:34 Ephesians 4:32 Ephesians 1:7

You see Jesus led by example. You say you can’t. He says you can. Because of the life He lived and His great sacrifice we all can. One afternoon, He came into my living room and said, “That is way too much power to give to someone.” “huh?” He peated, “That is way too much power to give someone. Yes, he stole your childhood. Why would you hand him your salvation, too?” “You know Lord, you're right. That is way too much power to give him. “ You say, “Alright, I can forgive but I can’t forget. I say ok. Forgive and let God handle your memory. Over time he handled mine. It was on Easter Sunday. I spent the weekend with my mother who spent the entire time taking my daughter and I to one relative after another to make fun of me. My heart was broken. I got my daughter and I dressed and went to church. I ran to the altar. There I layed both my parents there. I told the Lord I was not going to take them back from the altar. I wanted to forgive like He does. With the sin cast as far to the east as to the west in the sea of forgetfulness. Never to take it back again. I went home. Any time you make a stand for Jesus, Satan will try to test you. To prove you. So, be ready. Immediately that evening, I got a phone call. It was my father. He called to tell me that he gave the last of my inheritance to a sibling of mine. I grew quiet. I looked up and said to myself, “I see him, Jesus. And, I meant what I said. As far to the east as to the west in the sea of forgetfulness. It’s alright dad.” Then, he began to defend himself. I kept telling him that I understood and it was alright. Eventually, he decided to accept what I was saying. He hung up. Weeks later stuff that was supposed to be mine and were taken started showing up in different unforeseen places. First, my aunt had some pictures she had found for me that she didn’t want to lose. Then, my grandma found a photo album she didn’t want to lose before it made it to me. After my daughter was born, one of my sisters decided it was time to come see me and her. She brought a friend for moral support. The friend was supposed to side with my sister. She met me at my friend’s home. We were outside. She began to try to argue with me about my relationship with my father. How could I still be speaking to him after all he has done to us? As I tried to explain what the Lord had done in my heart, and that Forgiveness wasn’t for him, but for me. I tried to explain why and what the Lord had revealed to me about forgiveness. Her friend began to amen me. And told her she needed to listen to me and what I was saying. I could tell she was getting aggravated at her support that was starting to side with me. She kept accusing me of having rose-colored glasses on. I was dripping with the anointing as she kept on accusing me and I kept trying to share the freedom the Lord had given me with her. After she gave up trying to convince me in her argument and left. I went inside the house of my friend who had remained inside the whole time. I was praying for my sister and her friend. But, I also went to God, “Lord, is she right? Do I have on rose-colored glasses?” He softly replied to me, “Yes. Yes you do.” Then, He declared, “I Am the rose of Sharon and the lily of the valley! You have my glasses on!” My friend looked at me with big eyes. “ I know He just told you something. What was it?” So, I shared it with her. Over the years the Lord has kept on giving me back what the enemy tried to steal from me. Not because of who I am, in and of myself. But, because of who He is and His forgiveness principle. Do you want to wear His rose-colored glasses? Forgive like Him. See people as He sees them. This is when and how to wear your rose-colored glasses. Just a side note: My father and I have grown very close. He has acknowledged his abuse on me and truly repented asking for my forgiveness. My other siblings who have been abused by him and haven't forgiven him still haven't received an apology. How awesome is this.

When and How to Wear your Rose-Colored Glasses

Update

This is just an update: Really trying to get things back up and running. I have no phone for the next 5-7 business days. Making things very ...
